The Holy Grail of Levi’s Reproductions
An incredibly rare piece of denim history: a pair of 1993 Levi’s 501 110th Anniversary jeans, presented in original, unfaded dark indigo denim.
In 1993, to celebrate 110 years of manufacturing, Levi’s did something special. Long before the official "Levi's Vintage Clothing" (LVC) line existed, they tasked their legendary, now-closed Valencia Street Factory in San Francisco with recreating the magic of their historic 1883 eras.
The master weavers at Valencia St. spun these using traditional, narrow-shuttle looms, giving the denim an entirely different weight, texture, and character than mass-produced modern jeans. Look at image_5.png to see the authentic white selvedge line with the red "Ticker" thread on the cuff. You can also see the detailed, traditional printing on the inside pocket bag proudly reads "For over 110 years," a mark unique to this release.
You can instantly verify their heritage pedigree by the famous "555" factory stamp on the back of the top button.
Washed only once. This stunning collector's pair has only seen water a single time, leaving a beautifully dark indigo color with maximum potential for high-contrast, personalized fading.
